This newly design condensing unit comprises of an air-cooled condenser with extra size fan(s) along with a water condenser coil. First the refrigerant goes through the air condenser under normal operation. Should the pressure gets abnormally high due to extra hot ambiance temperature, the water regulator would automatically open up to provide additional cooling of the refrigerant. 

 

When the pressure gets back down to normal settings the water valve would shut off by itself leaving the air condenser operates on its own. Therefore this air/water combination condensing unit is perfect for extreme hot ambiance room temperature such as in a basement with no windows or insufficient ventilation. This new technology would help save water and energy in most extreme room conditions for all seasons.
